ഇംഗ്ലിഷിലെ മാതാവിനെ പരിചയപ്പെടാം- SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE. ഈ ടെൻസ് ഉപയോഗിക്കാതെ നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ ഒരു ദിവസം പോലും കടന്നു പോകാറില്ല.
നമ്മുടെ നിത്യജീവിതത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന tense ആണ് simple present tense.
സ്ഥിരമായി ചെയ്യുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ, ശീലങ്ങൾ, ആഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ, നിർദേശങ്ങൾ, ആപ്തവാക്യങ്ങൾ, ശാസ്ത്ര തത്വങ്ങൾ, പ്രപഞ്ച സത്യങ്ങൾ, ഒരാളുടെ സ്വഭാവം, ഗുണത്തെയും തൊഴിലിനെയും സൂചിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ, മുൻകൂട്ടി തീരുമാനിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങൾ, സഹായം തേടൽ, വഴി ചോദിക്കുക, ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുക തുടങ്ങിയ കാര്യങ്ങളൊക്കെ ഈ tenseൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

It is used to express habits, hobbies, interests wish, greetings, intsructions, guidance, suggestion, scientific facts, announcement, direction, dialogues, quotations, routines, universal truth, fixed arrangements, repeated actions/events etc.

Structure: Subject + first form of verb + object

My father drinks a cup of tea every day in the morning.
I visit my uncle every Sunday.
The sun rises in the east.
She always speaks thet ruth.
A soldier fights for his coutnry.
Sajeev writes diary daily after his school hours.
Shanu usually reads detective stories.

താഴെ പറയുന്ന വാക്കുകൾ ഈ tense ൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കാം . ഇവയ്ക്ക് Adverbs എന്നു പറയും. കൂടുതലായി വരും ലക്കങ്ങളിൽ മനസിലാക്കാം. (Usually, regularly, rarely, every day, sometimes, always, seldom, generally, occasionally, every weekend, often, daily etc)

താഴെ പറയുന്ന verbs ഈ tenseൽ മാത്രമേ ഉപയോഗിക്കാൻ പാടുള്ളൂ. These verbs only use in simple present form.
1. Verbs of mental state and activtiy:
Love, adore, respect, think, suppose, seem, consist, contain, resemble, appear, measure, believe, know, understand, remember
2. Verbs of perception:
See, hear, smell, taste
3. Verbs of feelings and emotions:
