കൊച്ചി: കൊച്ചിയില്‍ പച്ചാളം പാലത്തിന് സമീപത്തായി റെയില്‍വേ പാളത്തില്‍ ആട്ടുകല്ല് കണ്ടെത്തി. റെയില്‍വേ പൊലിസും ഡോഗ് സ്‌ക്വാഡും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ട്രെയിന്‍ അട്ടിമറി ശ്രമമെന്നാണ് സംശയം. റെയില്‍വേ ട്രാക്കിന്റെ നടുഭാഗത്തായാണ് ആട്ടുകല്ല് വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അപകടമുണ്ടാക്കും വിധം ആരാണ് ആട്ടുകല്ല് കൊണ്ടുവച്ചതെന്ന് വ്യക്തതയില്ല.

മൈസൂരു കൊച്ചുവേളി എക്‌സ്പ്രസിലെ ലോക്കോ പൈലറ്റാണ് ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ പാളത്തില്‍ ആട്ടുകല്ല് കിടക്കുന്ന വിവരം റെയില്‍വേ പൊലിസിനെ അറിയിക്കുന്നത്. തുടര്‍ന്ന് റെയില്‍വേ പൊലിസും ഡോഗ് സ്‌ക്വാഡും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി പരിശോധന ആരംഭിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. സംഭവത്തില്‍ അട്ടിമറി ശ്രമം ഉള്ളതായി സംശയിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

A possible attempt to sabotage a train has been reported near Pachalam Bridge in Kochi, where a stone slab was found placed on the railway track. The stone was spotted by the loco pilot of the Mysuru–Kochuveli Express, who immediately alerted the Railway Police. Railway Police and a dog squad reached the location and began an investigation. The stone was placed in the middle of the track, potentially capable of causing an accident. Authorities suspect it may have been an attempt to derail the train, but it is still unclear who placed the stone there. Further investigation is ongoing.
