ഫുജൈറ: ഫുജൈറ ഓയിൽ ഇൻഡസ്ട്രി സോണിലുണ്ടായ തീപിടുത്തം നിയന്ത്രണവിധേയമാക്കിയതായി ഔദ്യോഗിക വൃത്തങ്ങൾ അറിയിച്ചു. വ്യോമപ്രതിരോധ സംവിധാനം തകർത്ത ഡ്രോണിന്റെ അവശിഷ്ടങ്ങൾ പതിച്ചതാണ് തീപിടുത്തത്തിന് കാരണമെന്ന് ഔദ്യോഗിക വാർത്താ ഏജൻസിയായ വാം (WAM) റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തു.

Authorities in the UAE have successfully contained a fire that broke out at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone. According to the state news agency WAM, the blaze was caused by falling debris after the country's air defense systems intercepted a drone over the area. Officials confirmed that the flames have been fully extinguished and the situation is now stable. The incident occurred near the Port of Fujairah, which houses the Middle East’s largest commercial storage facility for refined petroleum products. No major damage to the core infrastructure or casualties have been reported.
