കണ്ണൂര്‍: തീപ്പൊള്ളലേറ്റ് ആറു മാസമായി ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിനി മരിച്ചു. കണ്ണൂര്‍ തില്ലങ്കേരി പള്ള്യം എല്‍.പി  സ്‌കൂളിലെ രണ്ടാം ക്ലാസ് വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥിനിയാണ് ഫാത്തിമ. കഴിഞ്ഞ മെയ് 14നായിരുന്നു കളിക്കുന്നതിനിടയില്‍ ഫാത്തിമയ്ക്ക് അബദ്ധത്തില്‍ പൊള്ളലേറ്റത്. ശരീരത്തിന്റെ പകുതിയോളം പൊള്ളലേറ്റ ഫാത്തിമ കഴിഞ്ഞ ആറു മാസമായി കണ്ണൂരിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു. സംസ്‌കാര ചടങ്ങുകള്‍ വൈകീട്ട് നടക്കുന്നതാണ്.

A second-grade student, Fathima, from Thillankeri Palliyam LP School in Kannur, has died after undergoing treatment for severe burn injuries for six months. The incident occurred on May 14, when she accidentally suffered burns while playing. Nearly half of her body was burnt, and she had been receiving treatment at a private hospital in Kannur. Funeral rites are scheduled to be held in the evening.
