New Delhi: It is not Opposition parties but the Prime Minister who is misleading the country on anti-CAA protest said PK Kunhalikutti MP, General Secretary, Indian Union Muslim League (IUML). He was responding to the Prime Minister's remark in Rajya Sabha that the Opposition Parties are spreading misinformation over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). 'Prime Minister is saying that the anti-CAA protests are spreading anarchy. But, all world knows the fact that who were the people who brandished gun at the protesters and shot a student in Delhi's outskirts under the nose central government; and everyone knows who were the people who gave inflammatory speeches which instigated people to carry out violence' said the MP.

Prime Minister in the president's motion of thanks address in Loksabha has said that the CAA will not create any hardship for Indian citizens. But, only when the government withdraws the mentioned anti-secular divisive legislation, people will come to believe the words of Prime Minister, said the MP.
