പാലക്കാട്: സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഡെങ്കിപ്പനി ബാധിച്ച് ഒരാള്‍ കൂടി മരിച്ചു. പാലക്കാട് ചിറ്റൂര്‍ പെരുമാട്ടി പള്ളിച്ചാര്‍ത്ത്ക്കുളമ്പ് സ്വദേശിനി ഗീതയാണ് (45) മരിച്ചത്. അങ്കണവാടി ജീവനകാരിയാണ് ഗീത. കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറച്ചു ദിവസങ്ങളായി ചിറ്റൂര്‍ താലൂക്ക് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു ഗീത.

ഈ വര്‍ഷം പാലക്കാട് മാത്രം ആറ് ഡെങ്കിപ്പനി മരണങ്ങളാണ് ഉണ്ടായത്. ഇതില്‍ നാലും ഈ മാസമാണുണ്ടായത്.

A fresh dengue-related death has been reported in Kerala, raising concerns over the spread of the mosquito-borne disease during the monsoon season. The victim was an Anganwadi worker from Palakkad district.
