തിരുവനന്തപുരം: തിരുവനന്തപുരം നെടുമങ്ങാട് ഹോട്ടലില്‍ ഗ്യാസ് സിലിണ്ടര്‍ പൊട്ടിത്തെറിച്ചു. അപകടത്തില്‍ രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ മൂന്നു പേര്‍ക്കു ഗുരുതരമായി പൊള്ളലേറ്റു. ഫയര്‍ഫോഴ്‌സ് എത്തിയാണ് തീ അണച്ചത്. ചായ കുടിക്കാനായി എത്തിയ സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്കാണ് പൊള്ളലേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നത്.

പൊള്ളലേറ്റ ഇവരെ ആദ്യം നെടുമങ്ങാട് ജില്ലാ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്കും പിന്നീട് തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജിലേക്കുമാണ് മാറ്റിയത്. ഇന്നു രാവിലെയാണ് അപകടം നടന്നത്. അതേസമയം പ്രഷര്‍കുക്കര്‍ പൊട്ടിത്തെറിച്ചാണോ അപകടം ഉണ്ടായതെന്നും സംശയമുണ്ട്.

A gas cylinder explosion occurred at a hotel in Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram, leaving three people, including two women, seriously injured with burn wounds. The incident happened on Friday morning while the women had come to the hotel for tea. Fire and rescue services rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. The injured were initially taken to the Nedumangad District Hospital and later shifted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. Meanwhile, authorities have stated that there is also a possibility that a pressure cooker explosion, and not a gas cylinder blast, may have caused the accident. An investigation is underway to confirm the exact cause.
