ബൂണ്‍ നര്‍ഷ് 8 ഔണ്‍സ് സിലിക്കണ്‍ ബേബി ബോട്ടില്‍ 3 പാക്ക് (ഉല്‍പന്ന നമ്പര്‍ ബി11654) ആണ് തിരിച്ചുവിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ബോട്ടിലിന്റെ പുറം പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് കവചം പൊട്ടുകയോ ചെറിയ ഭാഗങ്ങളായി വേര്‍പെടുകയോ ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്നും അത്തരം ഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ വിഴുങ്ങിയാല്‍ ശ്വാസതടസ്സത്തിന് കാരണമായേക്കാമെന്നും മന്ത്രാലയം അറിയിച്ചു.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ഫെബ്രുവരിയില്‍ ന്യൂട്രീഷ്യ-ഡാനോണ്‍ കമ്പനിയുടെ ആപ്റ്റാമില്‍, ബെബിലാക് ഭക്ഷണങ്ങളുടെ ചില ബാച്ചുകളെക്കുറിച്ചും സുരക്ഷാ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരുന്നു. അന്ന് ചില ഉല്‍പന്നങ്ങളില്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്ന അളവില്‍ വിറ്റാമിന്‍ 'എ' കണ്ടെത്തിയതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നായിരുന്നു നടപടി.
