On the thirtieth anniversary of Ashraf Abul Yazeed's volume of poetry 'The Whispers of the Sea' (1989- 2019), House of Poetry in San Jose and University of Costa Rica published its Spanish version; translated by Dr. Nadia Jamal Al-Din, the well-known academic figure, translator and sincere friend.
Today, in a Costa Rican atmosphere, the Spanish book is celebrated along with its brother (A Street in Cairo), born ten years ago, also translated by Dr. Nadia, and published by the House of Poetry at the "International Costa Rican Poetry Festival". Abul yazeed extended his sincere gratitude towards his son’s pictures artist Ahmed Ashraf, the sincere poet and friend Norberto Salinas, and the icon of all arts Susana Poveda Solozrano as well.
