കണ്ണൂർ: കെട്ടിട നിർമാണ പെർമിറ്റിനായി കൈക്കൂലി വാങ്ങുന്നതിനിടെ വിജിലൻസിന്റെ പിടിയിലായ കണ്ണൂർ കോർപ്പറേഷൻ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് എഞ്ചിനീയറെ സർവീസിൽ നിന്ന് പിരിച്ചുവിട്ടു.

താഴെചൊവ്വ സ്വദേശി മുഹമ്മദ് അസ്‌ലമിനെതിരെയെയാണ് കടുത്ത നടപടി. ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച ഔദ്യോഗിക ഉത്തരവ് കണ്ണൂർ മേയർ പുറത്തിറക്കി.

കെട്ടിട നിർമാണ അനുമതി നൽകുന്നതിനായി പരാതിക്കാരനിൽ നിന്ന് 15,000 രൂപ കൈക്കൂലി വാങ്ങുന്നതിനിടെ ഇന്നലെയാണ് അസ്‌ലമിനെ വിജിലൻസ് സംഘം കെണിയൊരുക്കി പിടികൂടിയത്.

അറസ്റ്റിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് കോർപ്പറേഷൻ ഭരണകൂടം ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെ സർവീസിൽ നിന്ന് അടിയന്തരമായി പിരിച്ചുവിട്ടത്.
