Aramex is a familiar and leading multi-national logistics company in the United Arab Emirates. The services of Aramex is including logistic solutions, courier and package delivery. Aramex was founded in 1982 by two entrepreneurs Fadi Ghandour and Bill Kingson. After completing his degree in BA political science Fadi Ghandour approach his family friend Bill Kingson to hire a company. At that time Bill Kingson was an owner of a small courier company in New York. after discussions Kingson and Ghandour moved towards a partnership courier business in the Middle East region.

Their first company was established in Amman, Jordan with the initial name Arab American Express. They aimed to become the first courier company in the middle east. At the time of their launching, there were no other international courier companies in the middle east region due to logistical and bureaucratic instabilities caused by the Civil War. This complex political situation gave positive growth to Arab American Express. Aramex got their first delivery for the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance based in Jordan to New York City. After the active service of two years, they renamed  Arab American Express to Aramex.

During the years of formation, Aramex got very less profit and response across the land, so in 1984 Aramex offered a fifty per cent ownership of the company for a fixed investment to Airbone Express, later this partnership helped Aramex to become more responsible in Airbone’s business. By the time they shifted their headquarters from Jordan to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In 1987 Aramex got Federal Express as their first client and within the first year of partnership, Aramex got 30 per cent of revenue from the Federal Express packages. In 1997 Aramex was listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange and became the first arab based company to trade its share on an American stock exchange. After long years of active presence in the logistics field, Aramex stretches its services to 120 locations in 33 countries in the middle east and south-east Asia. 

ABOUT THE JOB 

Aramex Is actively recruiting employees tho their branches in different countries including, UAE, Jordan and New York in different logistic-based posts. SNS product development executive, contact centre executive, customs invoicing officer, social media executive, contact centre executive, data entry operator, invoice officer, retail outlet executive, assistant board secretary etc. In Dubai, the vacancies are only available in three posts. The job requires a minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the related fields. The three major openings are below 

 

• ASSISTANT BOARD SECRETARY 

     Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law, business administration or connected fields. ( masters degree                              or professional certificates will be a bonus ) 

     Experience: Minimum 5 years 

• CUSTOMER SUCCESS SPECIALIST 

     Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, logistics or Btech 

     Experience: 3-5 years in the freight industry or 2-5 years in customer service 

• SENIOR KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER 

     Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or others 

     Experience: 4-5 years of sales experience, transport, freight or express shipping.
