ബേണ്‍: സ്വിറ്റ്‌സര്‍ലാന്‍ഡില്‍ പുതുവത്സരാഘോഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടെ റിസോര്‍ട്ടിലുണ്ടായ സ്‌ഫോടനത്തില്‍ നിരവധി പേര്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. ക്രാന്‍ഡ് -മൊണ്ടാനയിലെ സ്വിസ് സ്‌കൈ റിസോര്‍ട്ടിലെ ബാറിലാണ് സ്‌ഫോടനമുണ്ടായത്. പ്രാദേശിക സമയം പുലര്‍ച്ചെ 1.30 ഓടെയാണ് സംഭവം.

100 ലധികം ആളുകള്‍ സംഭവസ്ഥലത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. അപകടത്തില്‍പെട്ടവരില്‍ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും അവധി ആഘോഷിക്കാനെത്തിയ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളാണ്. 

സ്ഫോടനത്തിന്റെ ഉറവിടമോ എങ്ങനെയാണ് സ്ഫോടനമുണ്ടായതെന്നോ വ്യക്തമല്ലെന്നും ഒട്ടേറെപേര്‍ മരിച്ചെന്നും നിരവധിപേര്‍ക്ക് പരുക്കേറ്റിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും പൊലിസ് വക്താവ് വാര്‍ത്താ ഏജന്‍സിയായ എ.എഫ്.പിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു. മരിച്ചവരുടേയും കൃത്യമായ കണക്ക് സ്വിസ് അധികൃതര്‍ പുറത്തുവിട്ടിട്ടില്ല.

The blast occurred at a bar inside the Swiss Sky Resort in Crans-Montana in the early hours of the morning, around 1.30 am local time. Emergency services rushed to the scene following the incident, and further details regarding the cause of the explosion and the exact number of casualties are awaited.
