പയ്യന്നൂര്‍: അധ്യാപകന്‍ പ്ലസ് ടു വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളെ ക്രൂരമായി മര്‍ദിച്ചെന്ന പരാതിയില്‍ കേസ്. വിനോദയാത്രയ്ക്കിടെ തര്‍ക്കമുണ്ടായതിലെ വൈരാഗ്യമാണ് മര്‍ദനത്തിനു കാരണമെന്നാണ് പൊലിസ് പറയുന്നത്. കണ്ണൂര്‍ പയ്യന്നൂര്‍ ഗവ. ബോയ്‌സ് ഹയര്‍ സെക്കന്‍ഡറി സ്‌കൂളിലെ താല്‍ക്കാലിക അധ്യാപകന്‍ പുതിയങ്ങാടി സ്വദേശി ലിജോ ജോണിനെതിരെയാണ് ജാമ്യമില്ലാ വകുപ്പ് പ്രകാരം പൊലിസ് കേസെടുത്തത്.

വിനോദയാത്രയ്ക്കിടെ പ്രശ്‌നം പറഞ്ഞുതീര്‍ക്കാന്‍ എന്ന പേരില്‍ ലിജോ ജോണ്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളെ പഴയങ്ങാടിയിലേക്ക് വിളിച്ചു വരുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ലിജോ ജോണും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും ചേര്‍ന്ന് വളഞ്ഞിട്ട് അടിച്ചെന്നാണ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ പറയുന്നത്. നാലു പേര്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഇരുട്ടിലേക്ക് കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയാണ് തങ്ങളെ മര്‍ദിച്ചത്.

വടി ഉപയോഗിച്ചും അടിച്ചു. തിരിച്ച് വീട്ടിലെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ മര്‍ദനമേറ്റ പാടുകള്‍ കണ്ടതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് വീട്ടുകാരാണ് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. പരുക്കേറ്റ മൂന്ന് വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ തൃക്കരിപ്പൂരിലെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലാണ്. സംഭവത്തില്‍ പൊലിസ് അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചു.

A case has been registered against a temporary teacher for allegedly brutally assaulting Plus Two students in Payyannur, Kannur district. Police said the attack was motivated by personal enmity following an argument during a school excursion. The accused, Lijo John of Puthiyangadi, a temporary teacher at Payyannur Government Boys Higher Secondary School, has been booked under non-bailable sections. According to the students, Lijo John called them to Pazhayangadi under the pretext of resolving the issue and then, along with his friends, surrounded and attacked them, including beating them with sticks. The injured students were admitted to hospital after their families noticed the injuries, and three of them are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Trikaripur. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
