കൊച്ചി: ചെല്ലാനം ഫിഷിങ് ഹാർബറിൽ തീപിടുത്തം. തിങ്കളാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ട് ഏഴ് മണിയോടെയാണ് തീപിടുത്തമുണ്ടായത്. നിരവധി ഫൈബർ വള്ളങ്ങൾ കത്തിനശിച്ചു. ഹാർബറിന് സമീപം കൂട്ടിയിട്ടിരുന്ന ഉണങ്ങിയ ഇലകൾക്ക് ആരോ തീയിട്ടതാണ് അപകടത്തിന് കാരണമെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക വിവരം. ഇവിടെ നിന്നും പടർന്ന തീ സമീപത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ചെറിയ വഞ്ചികളിലേക്കും കടകളിലേക്കും വ്യാപിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

A major fire broke out at the Chellanam Fishing Harbour on Monday evening around 7:00 PM. According to preliminary reports, the fire started when someone set fire to a pile of dry leaves near the harbour premises. The flames quickly spread, engulfing and destroying several fiber boats parked nearby. Firefighting units from Aroor and Mattancherry rushed to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
