തിരുവനന്തപുരം: പുതുവര്‍ഷാഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് മദ്യവില്‍പനയില്‍ വന്‍ വര്‍ധന. 2025 ഡിസംബര്‍ 31ന് മാത്രം ഔട്ലെറ്റുകളിലും വെയര്‍ഹൗസുകളിലുമായി 125.64 കോടി രൂപയുടെ മദ്യം ബിവറേജസ് കോര്‍പറേഷന്‍ വിറ്റഴിച്ചത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷത്തെ പുതുവര്‍ഷത്തലേന്നുമായി താരതമ്യം ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ 16.93 കോടി രൂപ അധികം ലഭിച്ചു. 2024 ഡിസംബര്‍ 31ന് മദ്യവില്‍പന 108.71 കോടി രൂപയായിരുന്നു.

വില്‍പനയില്‍ എറണാകുളം കടവന്ത്ര ഔട്ലെറ്റ് ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തി. ഇവിടെ 1.17 കോടി രൂപയുടെ മദ്യമാണ് വിറ്റത്. പാലാരിവട്ടം (95.09 ലക്ഷം) രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനവും എടപ്പാള്‍ (82.86 ലക്ഷം) മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനവും നേടി. തൊടുപുഴ കഞ്ഞിക്കുഴി ഔട്ലെറ്റിലാണ് ഏറ്റവും കുറവ് വില്‍പന നടന്നത്- 4.61 ലക്ഷം.

വിദേശമദ്യം, ബിയര്‍, വൈന്‍ എന്നിവ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 2.07 ലക്ഷം കെയ്‌സാണ് പുതുവര്‍ഷത്തലേന്ന് വിറ്റത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം ഇത് 1.84 ലക്ഷം കെയ്‌സായിരുന്നു. ഈ സാമ്പത്തിക വര്‍ഷം (2025-26) ഇതുവരെ ബവ്കോയുടെ മൊത്തം മദ്യവില്‍പന 15,717.88 കോടി രൂപയായി. കഴിഞ്ഞ സാമ്പത്തിക വര്‍ഷം (2024-25) ഡിസംബര്‍ 31 വരെ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ വില്‍പന 14,765.09 കോടി രൂപയായിരുന്നു.

As part of New Year celebrations, Kerala recorded a sharp rise in liquor sales. On December 31, 2025 alone, the Kerala State Beverages Corporation sold liquor worth ₹125.64 crore through outlets and warehouses—₹16.93 crore more than the previous year’s New Year’s Eve (₹108.71 crore on December 31, 2024).Ernakulam’s Kadavanthra outlet topped sales with ₹1.17 crore, followed by Palarivattom (₹95.09 lakh) and Edappal (₹82.86 lakh). The lowest sales were at the Kanjikuzhi outlet in Thodupuzha, with ₹4.61 lakh.A total of 2.07 lakh cases of foreign liquor, beer, and wine were sold on New Year’s Eve, up from 1.84 lakh cases last year. For the current financial year (2025–26) so far, total liquor sales have reached ₹15,717.88 crore, compared to ₹14,765.09 crore by December 31 in the previous financial year (2024–25).
