കുവൈത്ത് സിറ്റി: കുവൈത്തില്‍ താമസിക്കുന്ന കോട്ടയം സ്വദേശിയായ പ്രവാസി അന്തരിച്ചു. കോട്ടയം ഇലഞ്ഞി സ്വദേശി സുനില്‍ സോണി (48) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. ഏറെക്കാലം കുടുംബത്തോടൊപ്പം കുവൈത്തില്‍ താമസിച്ചുവരികയായിരുന്നു.
സബാഹ് ക്യാന്‍സര്‍ സെന്ററിലെ സ്റ്റാഫ് നഴ്‌സ് സിജിയാണ് ഭാര്യ. അഡ്രയന്‍ (ബാംഗ്ലൂര്‍), യുണൈറ്റഡ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സ്‌കൂള്‍ അബ്ബാസിയയിലെ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളായ ഐഡന്‍, ആരോണ്‍ എന്നിവരാണ് മക്കള്‍. 
മൃതദേഹം നാട്ടിലെത്തിച്ച് സംസ്‌കരിക്കും. ഇതിനുള്ള നടപടിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ കുവൈത്തിലെ സാംസ്‌കാരിക സംഘടനയായ കല കുവൈത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ നടന്നുവരികയാണ്.

Sunil Soni (48), a native of Elanji in Kottayam and a long-time resident of Kuwait, has passed away, leaving the expatriate Malayali community in deep grief. He is survived by his wife Siji, a staff nurse at Sabah Cancer Center, and their children Adrian, Aiden, and Aaron. Efforts are underway to complete legal procedures and repatriate the mortal remains to India at the earliest under the coordination of Kala Kuwait.
