കോഴിക്കോട്: മാസപ്പിറവി ദൃശ്യമാവാത്തതിനാൽ റമദാൻ ഒന്ന് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച്ച  ആയിരിക്കുമെന്ന് വിവിധ ഖാദിമാർ അറിയിച്ചു. ഖാസിമാരായ സമസ്ത കേരള ജംഇയ്യത്തുൽ ഉലമാ പ്രസിഡന്റ് സയ്യിദ് മുഹമ്മദ് ജിഫ്രി മുത്തുക്കോയ തങ്ങൾ, പാണക്കാട് സയ്യിദ് സ്വാദിഖ് അലി ശിഹാബ് തങ്ങൾ, സമസ്ത ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി പ്രൊഫ. കെ. ആലിക്കുട്ടി മുസ്‌ലിയാർ, കോഴിക്കോട് ഖാസിമാരായ സയ്യിദ് മുഹമ്മദ് കോയ തങ്ങൾ ജമലുല്ലൈലി, സയ്യിദ് നാസർ ഹയ്യ് ശിഹാബ് തങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ് അറിയിച്ചത്.

Since the crescent moon was not sighted on Tuesday evening, Islamic clerics have announced that the holy month of Ramadan will begin in Kerala on Thursday. This means Wednesday will be the completion of the month of Sha'ban (the 30th day), and the first day of fasting will officially start the following morning.
