തൃശ്ശൂര്‍: ബസ് ശരീരത്തിലൂടെ കയറി ഇറങ്ങി സ്‌കൂട്ടര്‍ യാത്രികയ്ക്ക് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. ഇരിങ്ങാലക്കുട സ്വദേശി ആഫിദ(28) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. കൊടകര വെള്ളിക്കുളങ്ങര റോഡില്‍ ഇന്നലെ രാത്രിയായിരുന്നു അപകടം സംഭവിച്ചത്. ആഫിദ ഓടിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്‌കൂട്ടര്‍ മറ്റൊരു ബൈക്കില്‍ ഇടിച്ചാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്. സ്‌കൂട്ടറിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് ആഫിദ റോഡില്‍ തെറിച്ചു വീണു. ഈ സമയത്ത് ഇതുവഴി വന്ന ബസ് ആഫിദയുടെ ശരീരത്തിലൂടെ കയറിയിറങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു.

സംഭവസ്ഥലത്ത് വച്ചു തന്നെ ആഫിദ മരിച്ചിരുന്നു. മൃതദേഹം പിന്നീട് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. അപകടത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് സ്ഥലത്ത് കുറച്ച് സമയം ഗതാഗതം തടസപ്പെട്ടു. പൊലിസും ഫയര്‍ഫോഴ്‌സും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി ഗതാഗതം പൂര്‍വസ്ഥിതിയിലാക്കി. പോസ്റ്റ്‌മോര്‍ട്ടത്തിനും മറ്റ് നടപടിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ശേഷം മൃതദേഹം ബന്ധുക്കള്‍ക്ക് വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്. സംഭവത്തില്‍ പൊലിസ് കേസെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

A 28-year-old woman died in a tragic road accident in Thrissur after a bus ran over her. The deceased, Afida, a native of Iringalakkuda, was riding a scooter along the Kodungallur–Vellikulangara road on Tuesday night when her vehicle collided with another bike. She lost control of the scooter and fell onto the road, at which point a passing bus ran over her. Afida died on the spot, and her body was later shifted to a hospital. Traffic was briefly disrupted following the accident, and police have registered a case and initiated further procedures.
