കണ്ണൂര്‍: ഗൂഗിള്‍ മാപ്പിട്ട് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്ന സംഘത്തിന്റെ വാഹനം എത്തി നിന്നത് കാട്ടില്‍. ഒടുവില്‍ വിവരം അറിഞ്ഞെത്തിയ അഗ്‌നിരക്ഷാ സേന കാട്ടില്‍ കുടുങ്ങിയ സംഘത്തിന് രക്ഷയായി. തൃശൂര്‍ സ്വദേശിയായ അലന്‍ വര്‍ഗീസിന്റെ വാഹനമാണ് കാട്ടില്‍ കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോയത്.

ജോലി സംബന്ധമായ ആവശ്യത്തിന് കണ്ണൂരിലെത്തിയ സംഘത്തിലെ ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് സുഖമില്ലാതാവുകയായിരുന്നു. കണ്ണപുരം ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് പരിയാരം ഗവ. മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് പോവാന്‍ ഗൂഗിള്‍ മാപ്പിന്റെ സഹായം തേടിയിരുന്നു.

എന്നാല്‍ കാടു നിറഞ്ഞ് ഇടുങ്ങിയ, വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ കടന്നുപോകാന്‍ കഴിയാത്ത കുഞ്ഞന്‍ ചാല്‍ ഭാഗത്തു കൂടിയുള്ള വഴിയാണ് ഗൂഗിള്‍ മാപ്പ് കാണിച്ചത്. ഇതുവഴി പോയ ജീപ്പ് ചെറിയ താഴ്ചയിലേക്ക് ചരിഞ്ഞ് കുടുങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. നാട്ടുകാര്‍ അറിയിച്ചതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് തളിപ്പറമ്പില്‍നിന്ന് അഗ്നിരക്ഷാ സേനയെത്തി. തുടര്‍ന്ന് നാട്ടുകാരുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ വാഹനം വലിച്ചു കയറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു.

A group traveling to the hospital using Google Maps ended up stranded in a forest area, and was eventually rescued by the Fire and Rescue Services. The vehicle, driven by Alan Varghese from Thrissur, got stuck deep inside the woods.The group had traveled to Kannur for work, when one member suddenly felt unwell. They relied on Google Maps to navigate from the Kannapuram area to Pariyaram Government Medical College. However, the app directed them through a narrow, forested, non-motorable path in Kunjanchal, causing their jeep to slip into a small ditch and get stuck. Locals informed authorities, and a rescue team from Taliparamba Fire Station arrived. With the help of residents, the vehicle was pulled out safely.
