പത്തനംതിട്ട: ശബരിമല ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ താന്ത്രിക ചുമതലകള്‍ നിര്‍വഹിക്കുന്നതിന് താഴമണ്‍ മഠം കണ്ഠരര് ബ്രഹ്മദത്തനെ നിയോഗിക്കാന്‍ തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍ ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡ് തീരുമാനിച്ചു. തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍ ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡ് ആസ്ഥാനത്ത് ചേര്‍ന്ന ബോര്‍ഡ് യോഗത്തിലാണ് തീരുമാനം. 

ചിങ്ങം ഒന്നിന് താന്ത്രികാചാരപ്രകാരമാണ് ചുമതലയേല്‍ക്കുക. അടുത്ത വര്‍ഷം കര്‍ക്കിടകം 31 വരെയാണ് കാലാവധി. തന്ത്രിസമിതിയുടെ അനുകൂല നിര്‍ദ്ദേശപ്രകാരമാണ് ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡ് തീരുമാനമെടുത്തത്. 

യോഗത്തില്‍ തിരുവിതാംകൂര്‍ ദേവസ്വം ബോര്‍ഡ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് കെ. ജയകുമാര്‍, അംഗങ്ങളായ അഡ്വ. കെ രാജു, അഡ്വ. പി.ഡി സന്തോഷ് കുമാര്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

Brahmadathan, son of Kandarar Rajeevar, has been appointed as the new Thantri of the Sabarimala Temple. The decision was taken during a meeting of the Travancore Devaswom Board, marking a significant development in the temple's traditional priesthood. He will assume the responsibilities of Thantri in accordance with the temple's long-standing customs and rituals.
